2004 –2006
- Having earned his stripes at the Legendary Turnmills in 2004, Alistair quickly set about establishing one of the most successful and longest running Friday Night promotion in London ‘funky4love’ at the home of dance music Pacha. PachaLondon quick to pick up on his explosive sets and fast raising profile gave Alistair the unique opportunity to not only run his own events but become one of the main residents for PachaLondon and look after the music policy and promotions for the clubbing brand.
- Djingat The Cross, Turnmills& PachaLondon Alistair worked alongside the likes of Wally Lopez, Chicane, ATFC, Ian Carey, Stonebridge, Steve Edwards, Erick E, Utah Saints, Stonebridge and the Beatfreakzto name just a few.
2007
- New DJ Partnership formed with co-resident Patrick Hagenaar.
- Stepping into the studio in 2007 and understanding the need to bring more than just a DJ set to the ever shifting trends of the new digital age of the dance industry, Alistair with DJ Partner Patrick set about forging the chart topping high octane ‘Hagenaar & Albrecht’.
- Sign ‘What Would We Do’ to Shapeshifters’ Nocturnal Groove label.
- New residencies across the globe playing from Singapore to Russia.
2008
- 1stProduction ‘What Would We Do’ No. 1 across all download charts for 6 weeks, one of the biggest tracks of the summer.Included on 7 worldwide compilation CDs and supported by the likes of Eric Morillo to Pete Tong (Radio 1).
- New production partnership with Wayne O’Connell from the Soul Avengerzand Abigail Bailey signed to Major dance label Gusto Records.
- Hagenaar & Albrecht global tour including 4 appearances at Super Club PachaSharm
- New Tech house production partnership ‘Codec Shift’ formed signed to Seamus Haji underground label Big Love Digital.
2009
- Codec Shift goes straight to No.1 in the Tech House Charts with 1st Track ‘Mean Motion’
- New Remix by Hagenaar & Albrecht for Big Love Digital goes Top 5 on Beatport
- Hagenaar & Albrecht remix the classic 1999 RominaJohnson Top 10 hit ‘Moving Too Fast 2009’ for Craig Dimech Label Frenetic.
- Hagenaar & Albrecht new release ‘In & Out’ featuring the vocals of Adevasigns to Major Dutch label SpinninRecords.
- ‘In & Out’ tipped as the hot download by Roger Sanchez Release Yourself Ibiza Radio / Podcast, featured on David Guetta’sF*** Me I’m Famous Radio Show. Radio support from Steve Smart Kiss 100 UK, No.1 Top Single Mix Mag, Floor filler DJ Mag.
